Custom Garden Flag for your Business
. Monday is Labor Day and according to the US Department of Labor "Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. " So in honor of Labor Day why not design a Custom Garden Flag for your business. We could put your logo on the flag, you could thank your workers, even print their names. You could keep it more of a decorative flag or turn it into an advertisement by adding your phone number and services. There are really lots of possibilites in designing a personalized flag for your business. You could display it outside the business or hang it inside on the door or wall.
Give us a call toll free at 888-551-5167 to discuss your ideas and have a safe and fun Labor Day Weekend.

Recycling used Garden Flags
There are some of us with a Garden Flag obsession itching for excuses to buy new flags. Even though we may have one for every possible ocassion and holiday.
In the last post I mentioned that it is getting very close to the time when we need to take down our summer flags and put up one with an autumn theme. Now....what do I do with that summer flag that I am taking down? I could put it back in storage for next year OR I could donate it to a teacher for their classroom.
I discovered when I was working at a local flag store that teachers, especially in younger classrooms, love to have used flags donated to them. They use them to decorate their classroom, talking about seasons, identifying animals and in various other activities. I was surprised that even ones that were somewhat tattered and faded, they were very happy to receive. So if you have any decorative flags you are thinking of getting rid of, check with your local Elementary and Preschools. Then you are free to buy some new decorative flags to replace those and feel good about your old ones going to a good home.

Autumn Garden Flags
As we near the end of summer its time to start thinking about taking down those Flip Flop and Beach garden flags and replacing them with an Autumn Leaf Applique Garden Flag or any of the other beautiful decorative flags that are available for the fall. Most autumn flags are good for all the way through Thanksgiving. You can either leave it up the whole season or if you like more variety alternate it with some Halloween and Thanksgiving Flags. Below are a few of the Decorative Seasonal Flags that we offer for Fall. You can browse them all at www.CustomFlagsandGifts.com

Back to School
Opening Day was a busy day indeed and as suspected there were several kinks along the way. I also suspect the little "kinks" are probably going to be popping up here and there for a while.
We are excited though to be open for business and showing what we have to offer. Everyone right now has Back to School on their mind, although some of you probably are already back. We have several flags for the occasion and two Custom Flags I am particularly fond of. One gives thanks to Teachers and the other to Bus Drivers. Both are hard working individuals who don't get the recognition they deserve. For some reason my server won't let me upload pictures of them right now so just go to our website at www.customflagsandgifts.com and type Custom in the search box. All our custom flags come up, including the teacher and bus diriver ones.
Happy Back to School !

We would like to open in time to share with you the great Back-to School flags we have and support all the students heading back for a brand new year. As soon as we set a definite Grand Opening date we will start our countdown. We look forward to meeting you all.
