Late Summer Garden Flags

As summer is winding down with shorter days and cooler nights the beach themed and flip flop garden flags in our front yards just don't seem as appropriate as they did a month or two ago.  It's still not time though, for fall garden flags with pumpkins or leaves of autumn colors.

There are lots of decorative flags that do suit this time of year.  Flags with late season flowers such as sunflowers and marigolds, neutral monogram flags and welcome flags. Decorative Flags for your Garden

Probably the place most people display their decorative flags is in their front yard, close to the road by their driveway or mailbox.  This way it is easily visible for all who go by.  When I walk in my neighborhood I do enjoy seeing these eclectic lawn decorations.  Another popular place to put garden flags is in your garden.  They can add a lovely accent when the flag is of a garden related theme.

One of my favorite gardening related themes for yard flags is garden critters such as butterflies, dragonflies, frogs, etc.  These flags come in such a variey, ranging from humorous ones that make you smile to beautiful art flags that are so pleasing to look at. 

I am a big fan of frogs.  Artists portray frogs in ways that always make me smile.  So I do love good frog flags .

Summertime Beach Garden Flags

Spring was a long time coming but now we are in June already and its apparent summer is very quickly approaching.  Pretty soon it will be time to replace our decorative spring flags with summer garden flags.

Nothing says summer quite like the beach does.  There are lots of decorative summer flags with a beach theme.  You can take these with you to your week at the beach, display them at your own beach house or if you live in Kansas and were simply wishing you were at the beach, there is nothing wrong with putting a beach flag in your yard to give it that summer feeling.  Beach flags are very representative of summer as they portray that "laid back and having fun" feeling the season is known for.

Garden Flags for In Between

Although Labor Day marks the end of summer in so many ways REALLY summer is not over till the Autumnal Equinox sings, which this year is Monday September 23rd.  So its not quite time for fall flags yet.  Maybe you are ready for a change though, maybe that summer garden flag has been up for a while.  You are ready for a new In Between decorative flag.  A flag to fly between the holidays and between when a season is in full swing.  There are many to choose from at Custom Flags and Gifts.
